WHAT
WE DO

Social
responsibility should be a measurable objective and strategy
of every company. To this end, SPSmedical Supply Corporation,
the largest sterilizer testing company in North America,
asked Kathy to create a community masterpiece that would
reflect the company's objective of striking fear into the
hearts of germs everywhere. Thus, the "Germ in-ator."
As part of the IC/MC mix, Kathy also created print advertising,
collateral materials, tradeshow designs, direct marketing
pieces and events.

Before
Bill and Kathy became partners, they were involved in almost every
phase of tactical communication solutions to branding opportunities
on both the corporate and agency side of the business. For Bill,
it was pioneering IMC, seamlessly blending the execution of innovative
tactics in every phase of public relations, including writing, media
placement, VNR’s, government relations, employee communications,
stakeholder relations, community relations and crisis communications.
Crossing over, he was not only a pioneer in the use of the VNR,
but event marketing with premier worldwide organizations such as
the America’s Cup, Team McLaren in motor vehicle racing, and
the U.S. Olympic Biomedicine program. In parallel, he was heavily
involved in print advertising, award winning television, radio,
promotions and screenplays.
On
the other hand, Kathy was working the trenches in a similar way,
that of an art director and graphic designer with the Bill equivalents
in such areas as corporate ID, TV commercials, packaging, promotions,
collateral materials, photography and events.
Categories
they have been involved in include health care, medical, computers,
restaurant, business systems, chemicals, government, wine, super
markets, soft drink, telecommunications, motor vehicle racing, sailing,
Olympics, personal training, physical therapy, cancer, education
and food.
Since
joining forces at Huckleberry Finn Tomorrow, they have created a
full IC/MC program for a chef to the stars in Los Angeles, and designed
strategic plans for a personal trainer to the stars, a new beverage
for the skateboard enthusiast, and an NFL Super Bowl champion football
player. The program for the player also included corporate ID, collateral
materials, speeches, promo tape and a book outline. In parallel,
they have taught together at the college level, while Bill is marketing
his screenplay and writing an autobiography. Additionally, they
have opened the Huckleberry Finn Tomorrow One-on-One Mentoring Boot
Camp for young people looking for those elusive jobs in mass communications.
In
concert with JackRabbit Advertising & Design of Boston,
Bill helped launch Turtle Transit, a radical advertising company,
with an IC/MC program that included a VW sculpt into the product
itself, corporate ID system, public relations (press kit,
press releases, company backgrounder, fact sheet, bios, Q&A,
and photos) and Internet site. This was a product that sold
itself, as it roamed the streets of Boston. |

Greenbay
Packer and Super Bowl winner, Chris Hayes, needed a full blown
IC/MC treatment from Huckleberry Finn Tomorrow to launch a
motivational component for his company. Elements started with
a corporate ID system and included public relations, promotion
folder, speeches, motivational tape and concepts for an Internet
site. |
